Final Fantasy X: My Favorite Storyline of any FF tittle

For me, FF X is not the best game of the FF series, but its storyline is simply outstanding. Sin, an enormous monster that destroys everything in its path, is the enemy in this adventure. The seven main characters, Lulu, Waka, Riku, Kimahri, Auron, Yuna and Tidus, have to do a journey for Yuna to end with the Monster. The problem is that, in order to destroy the enemy, Yuna has to sacrifice herself.

The game is very lineal if you compare it with other FF games where you were free to move over the world, but the story is being told in a very fluent way. You always have your objective clear: to let Yuna reach her destiny.

However, at the end the heroes decide to defeat the enemy in a different way, a way that will maintain Yuna alive but will compromise the lives of Auron and Tidus: both of them are not from the same time of Yuna and the other 4 characters, they come from the past.

At the end, Sin is defeated, but Tidus and Auron die definitely. Incredible! For the first time in Final Fantasy games a main character died. It’s true that at the end, after the credits, you can see a short clip of Tidus swimming in the ocean, but I consider that ending and the resulting FF X-2 game as an alternative ending for the FF X story.
