A new way to play games is what Kinect is giving us. Consist on a motion system that allows you to use your body as if you were the controller. It’s like an improvement of the well known and successful Nintendo Wii, system which is able to recognise the movements of the controller. However, the Microsoft’s Kinect is a step forward. For example, in the last E3 (of the year 2010) there were some examples of games as a racing one in which the player had to move his or her hands as if he or she were managing a car handle. Another example was a dancing one where players had to move their entire bodies.
It’s very exciting how video games industry has advanced in the last years.
