The most used microblogging service, Twitter, produces near 65 million Tweets per day. That’s according to recent announcements made by the company. The famous site has broken some records in the last few times. For example, in the early 2010 Twitter reached the total amount of 10 billion tweets. Then, in May Twitter reached 15 billion Tweets.
Other services have options similar to Twitter which allow you to update your status and to publish your thoughs, such as Google Buzz and Facebook.
