Spain: the soccer World Cup 2010 Winner

It was a great World Cup, although it had many polemical actions, some full of yellow cards matches and a Jabulani ball which was not as popular as its creators would like. Nevertheless, the cup of cups was won by the team which demonstrated the best football: Spain. Spain had ever been part of the favorite teams to reach the World Cup, but it was never able to obtain such price.

This time, against Netherlands, the Spanish team showed which are the best aspects of football: ball possession, good technique, lots of effort, speed and a very strong belief in the abilities in each of its players.

The final match reached the Extra times and it was vital to have a good players to make the necessary changes to refresh the team. Spain had better players for that, so the team which dominated the whole extra times was the champion.

Iniesta, when the clock marked the minute 116 and it was almost inevitable to go to the penalty kicks, scored the greatest goal in Spanish football history: the goal which allows Spain to celebrate its first World Cup. Now there are 8 different champions: Brazil 5 times, Italy 4, Germany 3, Argentina and Uruguay 2, France, England and Spain 1.
