If you have a handheld or any type of portable computer as a netbook or a notebook, why not to take advantage of the microphones and web cameras that most of them contain?
For example, today I used my netbook connected to the battery, not to the power cable, and I go out to take a funny video of my pets (two little dogs). Then I realized that the day was awesome (although the morning was rainy), and I had the opportunity to take in video the twilight. Now I have those videos saved on my computer and, for me, they are very stimulating.
You could do the same with your portable computer!
